| Dr. Claß holds a doctoral degree in Biology from Saarland University and is currently head of “Target Finding & Biological Profiling”. Prior to joining Pharmacelsus, he worked as a postdoc at the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia (USA). In 1992, he was appointed faculty member of Drexel University (Philadelphia, USA). Her served as Director of the Hahnemann University Flow Cytometry Core Facility and headed the Oncology Research Laboratory at the department of Radiation Oncology. In 2001, Dr. Claß was appointed Chief Scientific Officer of SymbioTec (Saarbrücken, Germany) where he was responsible for the preclinical and clinical development of a biotech drug. His expertise covers all aspects of preclinical R&D up to early stage clinical testing. Dr. Claß maintains an active faculty appointment at Drexel University in Philadelphia (USA). |
