History
Pharmacelsus is an independent and completely privately held company, which was founded in April 2000 in Saarbrücken, Germany. Pharmacelsus is headed by Dr. Christine Batzl-Hartmann (CEO and founder), who worked for many years in Novartis Pharma Research in Switzerland. Due to its innovative concept Pharmacelsus was awarded several prices.  
Over the years, Pharmacelsus has strongly improved its human capital and lab facilities. In August 2005 Pharmacelsus moved to new labs in Science Park 2, Saarbrücken, assembling state of the art equipment, which meets current standards and allowed to expand, both, routine testing and R&D activities. Since November 2008 Pharmacelsus is GLP certified. |
